Our programmes are designed and are based on your child’s needs and strengths. Together, we focus on specific strategies to gain independence and literacy success, including reading comprehension for personal enjoyment, spelling skills and writing strategies.

Supporting literacy for all learners
My programmes are designed and based on your child’s needs and strengths. I will create a personalised programme that is right for your child, working with them one-on-one, in Buddy sessions and or small groups.
Individual Sessions
Gain confidence and literacy success with tuition targeted for all learners, including our dyslexic students. These sessions help you find your strengths and empower you with skills to transfer your learning into the home and classroom.
Buddy Sessions
Hey, want to get better at reading and writing while hanging out with a cool person who loves learning new things? Why not team up with someone who’s a good match and have some fun, personalised lessons that help you both improve? Let’s do this!
Small Group Sessions
If you enjoy the company of others, sharing ideas, learning – and winning team challenges, these are the sessions for you! Created to include team time, one-on-one teacher time and buddy activities – these sessions bring together all the amazing styles of Dare to be Dyslexic.

Screen Testing for Dyslexia
Do you think your child may have a secret superpower? Discover and celebrate your child’s strengths through in-depth assessment.
Screen Tests available: Using a range of screen tests, we can determine which traits your child might have.
This testing is recommended for ages eight and over. You will receive an in-depth report outlining any dyslexic traits your child may show. The information will help formulate a plan for your child at school, at home and to help in their personal lives. Test results provide recommendations for help in the classroom and can be used for requesting Special Assessment Conditions at Secondary school.

Screen Testing for Speech and Language
Identify and support speech, language and communication for learners
Does your child share amazing stories and ideas that others struggle to understand? Does your child have difficulty expressing themselves? Is it difficult for them to communicate in school, at home and with friendships?
We are excited to offer the renowned UK-based GL Assessment screening tests, we can find out exactly the help your child needs, and we can create plans for home and school to help you and your child.
The screening test for speech and language abilities can identify problems before they become serious. The activities provided to address these are fun and easy!
By using a traffic light system, the results will indicate which children may benefit from school and home-based Speech Language Support or those that require a further external Speech Language Therapy Referral.
